Help wanted, in Alaska!

I'm Nelson Hays, a custom car guy, up in Alaska. I'm looking to hire on an upholster who has experience with automotive upholstery, and marine work. There are lots of boats here, and canvas tops and repairs, as wells as marine cushions and benches are very typical jobs here. I know there are some furniture jobs out there, but not many as this is a fairly small town.
I'm looking into buying out my cousin, who is preparing to retire, so whoever wants this job will walk into a lot of work, and a steady high paying job. Contracts he has had in the recent past have included large jobs for the Alaska Marine Highway (Ferry system), restaurants, etc, as well as lots of small projects. I have a nice facility, and I only have the nice equipment.
I'm looking for someone with plenty of experience I don't have to hold by the hand, since I already work too much. If you know you are interested in the position and are ok with coming to Alaska, please contact me. If you know somebody else I would really appreciate you spreading the word.
thanks a lot
Nelson Hays

If you can stand the winters
"Ketchikan, Alaska gets 162 inches of precipitation per year, so your chances of seeing it on a clear day are small. However, moderate weather makes Ketchikan, Alaska, a year-round destination. Ketchikan, Alaska, experiences warm winters (highs 29 to 39 F), cool summers (highs 51 to 65 F) and lots of rain. Winter snowfall is about 32 inches."

yup winters aren't all that bad, it's the moisture that gets ya!
I've talked to a couple of people that are tempted, but no body has made any serious inquiries yet. If you are not available, or don't feel you qualify, please spread the word to somebody who does.
this really is a great place to live, and I'm a great boss! This is a very small shop, just myself and one other installer.
