This morning I deleted a Spam/Advertising post for a Cigarette Website.  Advertising and Spam posts are not allowed on this website and will be removed as soon as they are discovered.
All posts remain on the site at the discretion of the Administrative Team.

This is just a refresher about the Spam Posts on the board.  We try and catch these spam post as soon as they show up on the boards.  When found, the user is banned from the site, their account is deleted from the board and the post is removed.  There is no tolerance given on this as we are a very anti-Spam site and will not tolerate these type of posts

If one of these ads/Spams show up on the boards, please let either Agnes or Jack know about them ASAP.  Though we spend a great deal of time on the board, we are not here all the time and occasionally might be a little slow finding them.

Late getting to this post but I also agree that spam will not be tolerated and will be cleared as soon as they are found. The third of the administration Team.

If you go to the topic, instead of viewing it only as part of the recent posts, there is a "report to Moderator" link on all actual posts.  This is sent to all three administrators.   I only mentioned Agnes and myself for reporting these to, because I haven't had a chance to show Stacey the procedures of Banning the user and deleting their accounts.

Hey,

I was going to try to get a date from that web site. I had my credit card all ready.

I may have been the first to view that post. I'll hit the Report to Mod next time.

I read in the Wall Street Journal several months ago about a guy in CA who was suing a company that had been sending unsolicited faxes to his fax machine. He was suing for what amounted to $20 or so. However, he made the Journal because he was seeking a class action status on his law suit which would mean millions of people would also be getting about $20 or so. I haven't heard what happened, but I do wish him good luck.
