Announcement of the Calendar Contest Winners!!

Congratulations to the Winners of the 4th Annual Calendar Contest!!
We would like to thank everyone that entered the contest this year.  There were some outstanding entries, making the job of the Judges very difficult.  We are proud to be associated with such a talented group of Upholsterers and Soft Furnishings Specialist.

Karen was this years Grand Prize winner and the winner of the $100 Gift Certificate donated by IFAI Bookstore!

All winners, besides Karen, may contact me with your choice between one of the Websites at carrscorner.net  or a one year extention of your membership here on our site.

I have received the Calendars today and will be sending them out on Monday.  The quality of the calendars have dramtically improved from previous years and you will be very pleased with them.   Additional Calendars can be purchased at: http://www.cafepress.com/upholsterers  I have also created individual calendars for each individual winning entry and they can be seen at the same link.

I have sent in the list of entrants that earned a 1 year subscription to a magazine offered by The Upholstery Journal.  You should receive a subscription card that will need to be completed and returned to receive your subscription.

I love your slipcover entry Kim.  It is beautiful!  I have been wanting to do a multi-fabric slipcover. I also love your new logo.

Yes indeed...the projects were outstanding....I saw the window dressing and feel in love with it......I think I know what book to get Slip covers to antiques...I was in awe of all the projects. Most excellent!!

ok ok....I have something to tell...I ran all over the house last night like a corn ball muffin butt jumping up and down like a little kid I could not believe it.....my son was yelling..quiet down mom, dad is a sleep he has to work. I was yelling back Im going to wake him up Im going to wake him up...hehe he wouldnt let me......lol...

the  winning picks looks great . maby i will git  a pick to put in next year . know my entries wasen`t that good but haven`t  had anything that would come close to the winning entries if i had a goo picture of what i have don . . . think i have something coming up after the first of the year . planning on gitting a new camera soon that will take a good pick to.

Congrats to Karen ~ very much deserved! I have to ask though -- what kind of car is that? Lamborghini, maybe?? Looks awesome............and EXPENSIVE! Your workmanship is excellent and fitting to the car.
